Festas de Lisboa 11
Info
Description
The point of this Project was to participate in the contest of “Festas de Lisboa 11” (Lisbon’s Parties 11, one of the biggest events of every year in Lisbon, where everyone goes out), and of course, having fun and sacrifice during it.
The contest was about the personalization of an empty sardine through her silhouette, and so I decided to pick up two different concepts.
One of the concepts was about the Iconic historic celebrities of Portugal (most of them from Lisbon). It was a great challenge because I had to adapt the celebrity’s form to the sardine form. And at the same time I could not deform their own characteristics, because they could became unreadable. They also should be reversible and perceptible in the distance.
In the other hand, I pick up the concept of the unique Portuguese sidewalk, where I want to give him a lot of energy, dynamism and movement, appealing to the term of “Party”. It was also a big challenge, because I had to frame each rock and the logo of the event in the correct spot. I felt like a constructor that would give to the society a place to walk and have party.
